Dune Billies

During my recent visit to Michigan City we fell upon this gem of a brunch spot leaving Blue Chip spa. We went during peak of brunch time and still had amazing service and food. Food was tasty and they have healthy options! The added fruit on my breakfast plate was wonderful. The blueberry crumble pie was my favorite part! I like their vibe and will be back!

My wife and I were elebrating her birthday with a weekend at the casino and wanted some great local food.So glad we found Dune Billies for a great breakfast. The place has a summer/beach vibe with a little hippie and classic rock style mixed in.Anyway, my wife had the Dune Billie Breakfast Wrap and found it delicious. Perhaps the best wrap she has ever had!!For my meal, I had the South Shore Breakfast Burito. It was big and tasty with just a bit of warm spice to wake your throat up.Everything was cooked just right. They absolute know how to make great meals.Natalie was our server and did a good job of taking care of us. Thanks for keeping the cups full.

I was recently in town for Labor Day weekend.my family and I love to find local eateries. Upon reading the reviews on this place it sounded too good to be true. We were blown away!My son got the biscuits and gravy, my daughter eggs and fruit, my wife got biscuits and gravy with eggs, I got the burrito.Everyone loved their meal, I am a bit of a foodie, and I was blown away by the flavor in this burrito! Service was fast, attentive, informative, happy (not everyone is always happy at work) overall it was just fantastic! If I come back to Michigan city, I’m coming back here!

This place is absolutely delicious, I had the south shore burrito was freaking amazing, my wife had the bourbon French toast and ate all of it, both meals were so good and uniquely tasteful, first time here and will be back, cozy spot to sit down and lots of cool decor,and the vibe was really comfortable service perfect. Glad we chose this place from the list we had.

Get off the beaten path in Michigan City, IN, and meander you way just south of Sheridan Park to the treasure that is Dune Billies Cafe. You can't miss it as you are met with a kaleidoscope of colors adorning the long front porch that beckons you in. But this is not all they have to offer.The food is absolutely delicious here. Whether it's breakfast or lunch you seek, you won't be disappointed. My friend and I shared the Biscuits and Gravy dish and the Ham and Spinach Eggs Benedict that had us experiencing food nirvana inno time.Our food was delivered quickly despite the fact that they were packed with customers. The service was excellent and the ambience was simply magical. You owe it to yourselves to experience Dune Billies at your earliest convenience!

Cutest little breakfast and lunch spot ever! Charming decor, indoor and outdoor seating available, dog friendly. Do not miss the pastry! Everything on the menu looked delicious but the quiche was definitely a great choice.

I had the Hoosier daddy cinnamon roll and the quiche. Everything was very good. The place is decorated beautifully and it's whimsical. I absolutely loved it. Thank you Dune Billies. I appreciate you

This is a super fun little beach cafe. I've heard it is packed in the summer and I understand why - across from the park and just down the way from beach access. We went on a rainy, chilly Sunday morning. We were greeted warmly and quickly led to a window table on the first floor. The beach vibe abounds in the art on the walls and the surrounding knick-knacks. Our waitress was fast and cheerful. You definitely feel looked after at Billies.My companion had the burrito that was easily enough for two (though he quickly polished it off as a solo work). My Captain's Special which was a corn biscuit with sausage gravy and super tasty parmesan and herbed potatoes was outstanding. Biscuits and gravy in a particularly delicious way.Our waitress brought us one of their signature blueberry muffins as a on the house special. People buy them by the 1/2 dozen. And I saw folks leaving with containers of muffins. It was good with a buttery streusel topping. It was also very sweet. Again, my husband had no problem polishing that off either.We will be back.
